Graveside services for Joel E. Amis III, 55 Tyler are scheduled for 3:30 pm. Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bill Davis officiating under direction of Memorial Funeral Home West, Tyler.

Entombment will be in Field of Honor Mausoleum.

Mr. Amis died Aug. 12, 1997 in Tyler. He was born April 9, 1942, in Evansville. Ind .and served in the Air Force. He attended Robert E. Lee High School, Tyler Junior College and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. He was a Catholic.

He was preceded in death by his father. Joel E. Amis II.

Survivors include his mother Gayle F. Amis. Tyler.

If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice.
