GRAPEVINE - Gary L. Pierson, 63, a structural engineer, died Saturday, July 8, 2006, at a local hospital.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lucas Funeral Home, 2000 W. College St., with the Rev. Lawrence Hammond officiating. Burial: Following committal service, Gary will be laid to rest in Grapevine Cemetery. Visitation: Gary will lie in state Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home with the family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m.
Gary L. Pierson was born June 28, 1943, in Johnstown, Pa., to Dale and Madeline Smith Pierson. He was a 1966 graduate of Texas A&M. Gary was extremely proud to be an Aggie.
Survivors: Left to treasure his memories and mourn his death are his wife, Jackie Pierson; sons, Jeff Pierson and Pat Pierson; grandson Avery Pierson; mother, Madeline Currie; and aunts, Mildred Housel and Helen Hull.
