Bm Pete Krinner - Year Arrival 1969 VIEW PROFILE

PETE KRINNER BM, USS FORT SNELLING (LSD-30)

It is with tears from my heart and a loss in my life that I inform
Everyone of the passing of Pete Krinner.
Pete on the on the Fort Snelling with me and Ray Batiato around 1969.
Pete was a Bosin mate and has been my friend for over 40 years
He lived in Long Island about 15 minutes away and we got together frequently.
He was a dedicated father and a loving husband.
We knew all of each other’s plans and dreams. We drank and laugh in recent months.
His wake included Naval Honors and a flag being given to his wife, I could not have been
any prouder of our US Navy then of that honor.
I also gave a Navy pin that was given to me by our shipmate “Tom Loughrey”, that will be
with Pete. He will be cremated and his ashes will be put in the ocean where we all belong.
I salute him and I and many others will miss him.

Pete and his wife Terry were active members of the Fort Snelling.
They attended our New Port Rhode Island reunion and I think Charleston, SC.
