Update June 5, 2018:
I wrote some software in 1995 which has sold thousands of copies. I am in the process of making necessary updates so my software will run on Windows 8 and 10. I had decided long ago to just let my software die a quiet death as demand decreased greatly over time. I recently learned of a large untapped market for my software and decided to resurrect it. I am working on it now. I discovered the upgrade would be easy and should be finished sometime this month. The newly discovered market will be easy to contact on Linkedin. I am very busily "retired" and am finding very little time for this software project, but fortunately it is a small project with large potential.
I have been walking 5 miles every day for over 5 years. My wife and I are in very good health for 76-year-olds. We take no prescription drugs and seldom see the inside of a doctor's office.
We are very active in the LDS (Mormon) church. We serve in the Seattle Temple on Friday mornings. I was recently released as High Priest Group Leader and am now serving as ward mission leader. MarJean is a ward missionary and works closely with me in everything I do in the church. I seldom find more than an hour a day to work on my software.
I no longer golf, bowl, hike, or fish because I have more important things to do and just can't find the time. But whether it be long or short, we are happily looking forward to the future with as much, or more, joyful anticipation as when we were young. We hope all of you are doing the same.
