VINES, Janet Elizabeth (nee Rowlatt)

Born December 2, 1946. - died in peace February 26, 2011.

Mom was born in Edmonton, Alta. and grew up in Vancouver. After her career as an X-ray Technician, she devoted her life to raise her 2 children. Janet deeply cherished her family and was passionate about her friends. She remained active throughout her life with tennis and golf and mom enjoyed her card games and theatre events with her friends. She also had a great passion for traveling the world. Janet is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law Amanda (Mandy) and Todd and her son and daughter-in-law James (Jim) and Elizabeth (Liz). She will also be missed by her grandchildren Cole Blaugrund and Jack Vines. Also survived by her very dear and close sisters, Judith (twin) and brother-in-law Grant, Penny and Barbara. She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews and their families: Teri (Rene and Dooley), Todd (Gill), Jacquie (Barry and Jake), Jed (Ayden and Tiffany), and Marianne (Chris, Emily and Olivia). Janet was an amazing pillar of strength which we hope to pass on to her future generation along with her memories. We love and miss you mom but you will be in our hearts every moment.
