Hello everyone! Wishing you all a fabulous time at at the Reunion on May 5th. It's been such a pleasure reading everyone's updates throughout the year. Last time I couldn't go because I was in Africa and this time it's on my birthday and apparently reaching 70 is a big deal. I like Helen Mirren's quote about aging: Your 40s are good. Your 50s are great. Your 60s are fab. And 70 & 80's are fucking awesome.
Our Africa doc recently premiered at several festivals and here's the team winning an award for it.
Best to all! Wish I could be there.

Sadly, I won't be able to attend ... again. it's my birthday on May 5th and I have other plans. Last time I couldn't go because I was filming in South Africa and strangely it's taken till now to release our documentary. It recently won an award in the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival and this weekend it's in the Vancouver South African Film Festival. It was tough to edit a film in xiTsonga. A number of Stephen Lewis's Gogo Grannies are holding screenings - which we're pleased about.
