Val was a good friend, as was Steven. I will never forget
them. Life can be unfair sometimes, we need to all remember good times, fun times, and even bad times.
Both Valerie and Steven loved to party. Hang in there you guys.

Valerie was a one of a kind, no doubt. I had just had a burger and glass of tea with Valerie, Steve and the new precious little girl at the Bel Bree Dinner. I just could not get over that one. It is still a haunting memory.

Val and I were starting our families at the same time. She was pregnant with Debbie and due about one month before I was. We hung around a lot- listening to "Stand by your Man" and we would sing it as loud as we could. What a hoot! When she had her little girl, she and Steve were the happiest, proudest family ever. I lost my best friend the day of the accident and still haven't been able to go to the cemetery in Sarasota. I have a really hard time writing this- it's like opening an old wound that didn't quite heal. As Randy said, we will all meet again and what a reunion it will be. We will sing really loud-stand by your man. Miss ya, girl.
