HAWTHORNE - Sharon Ann Simmons Molander, a longtime resident of Hawthorne, died Thursday at her residence. She was 49. Mrs. Molander was a secretary with the Alachua County School Board.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Molander of Hawthorne; a daughter, Pamela Glassco of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Glenn Molander Jr. of Melrose; her mother, Marilee Simmons of Hawthorne; her father, Allen Simmons of Sarasota; sisters Sandra Ringo of Milwaukee, Wis., Jackie Fairbanks of Northport and Lori Williams of Venice; and three grandchildren.

Sharon and I were friends through out school. She was always very nice to me, a buddy! I don't think I ever heard her say anything bad about anyone.Sharon was just one of those nice, nice people. I am sure she is missed greatly by her family.
