Jeffrey S. Sourbeer, age 60, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 26, 2013. He was an amazing man with the biggest of hearts. The loves of his life were his wife, Connie Sourbeer, his daughters and son-in-laws, Sara and Lance Boverhof, Jessica and Andrew Graham, and Jaime and John Puthoff. He was a proud grandfather of Ava and Audrey Graham and Colin Puthoff. He enjoyed good times with his brother, Terry Sourbeer, and also loved his dogs whole-heartedly. Jeffrey was a lifelong Lutheran. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church for over 25 years and happily served on the Board of Evangelism and Board of Elders. He was also an avid outdoorsman, golfer, softball player and umpire. He was president of the Manatee County Golf Association for 3 years and would never turn down a day on the golf course. He enjoyed being active in the community by being a supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of Manatee County for many years. He was a man who cherished his family and friends, loved music, laughter and life. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at Hope Lutheran Church, 4635 26th Street West, Bradenton, Florida 34207. A reception to follow in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida 34238.
