Paul F. Andersen. 17, 1755 Padua Court, Nokomis died Sunday night from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Youngston, Ohio, he moved to Venice four years ago from Sarasota.
He was a student of Venice High School and a member of the Venice Nokomis Methodist Church and the MYF.
He is survived by his parents Mary Louise and Robert Anderson, Nokomis, a sister Mrs. Eugene M Polesta, Youngstown, maternal grandparents Mr and Mrs I.F. Glace, Youngstown and a paternal grandparent George M. Andersen, Ravenna, Ohio.
Services will be at 3 PMThursday in the Rawles Funeral Home Venice Chapel with Dr. Robert W. Weaver of the Venice Nokomis Methodist Church offlliating.
Burial will be in Sarasota Mempiral Park.
Pallbearers will be Skip Dalton, L. Gentzler, Bobby Hirter, Randy Bernius, Todd Bernius and Nick Saputo. Sarasota Herald Tribune

Paul was one of the first guys I met coming to Venice. He was so sweet, picking me up every morning to take me to school! He helped me meeet new people and fit it. While he was never a boyfriend, he was always a great friend. How sad he didn't get a chance to live a longer life- I'm sure he would have made a great husband and dad!Andie

Paul was one of our neighborhood friends as well as a friend at school....he and Lester Gentzler would ride their bikes over and "bug" us girls...He was such a nice boy and always made us laugh.I was so sorry to learn that he passed away years ago.

I loved Paul! Everyone loved Paul...I was with him the day of the car crash....Him, Suzanne, Erin, Eddie and Erin's boyfriend the driver...To this day it still haunt's me. We were having so much fun swimming, hanging out and then the journey home some did not make it. So glad I had the chance to be their friend. God Bless!

That was a horrific accident. Eddy Palmer was the only one to survive out of five people in the car. God bless Sue, Paul and Erin. (I do not remember Erin's boyfriend's name, he was the driver.)
