Hard to believe it's been 20 yrs. Really does seem like yesterday that I was tearing up the town in Mom's Buick. God, that means we're all on the downhill slide to 40 now.
Well, after graduation I headed off to State. Met Mike, my now-husband, at a frat party two weeks into the fall semester of 88. Graduated in August of 1991 with a degree in Management. Mike and I got married and moved up to the Washington DC area. I worked in Georgetown for a while, but really hated the area. We ended up moving to Louisville KY in 1993 and it's been home ever since. In Sept 2003, after three years of trying to get pregnant, we adopted our son Spencer. It is an amazing story to tell, but too long to leave in a Comments section. And, just like the stories you always hear about, 6 months later I found out I was pregnant. Everett was born in Nov 2004. The boys are 14 1/2 months apart. With 2 boys ages 4 and 3, I usually tell people, if it seems like I'm crazy, it's because I am.
Work wise, I've been a Human Resources Manager since I graduated from State in 1991.
In 2009, I moved back to Vicksburg and stayed there for about 14 months before we moved to the lovely Redneck Riviera of Panama City Beach, FL in August 2010. We love it here!
In our spare time (HA!), Mike and I are usually hanging out with friends, traveling to the islands (St. Martin, usually) about every other year, and going to concerts. We're huge Jimmy Buffett fans, so we've been to about 25 -30 concerts of his.
