USM - BA in English Lit/minor in religon/philosophy

worked on an MA in Eng. Lit/area of study - John Milton (everything but the thesis)

started teaching Computer Discovery and doing computer networking training around the state

also coached boys and girls soccer while teaching at North Forrest High School (see above)

USM (again) finished a MS in Instructional Technology and Design

2004 became school district's Technology Coordinator (instructional technology training, VOIP, wireless, network management and security, videoconferencing, routing/switching)

been elected and served on board for MS Educational Computing Association (MECA)

been elected and currently serve on board for MS Educational Technology Leaders Association (METLA)

still feel like I am 18 in my mind but my body is beginning to tell me I am 38 when playing in the local adult soccer league, ;-)

I remember a lot of great football games watching Mark Baroni through the ball to Tony Smith or hand it off to William Prince. I remember Guys and Dolls, symphonic band concerts, soccer games, mock election (met Jack Kemp in Jackson,) photography class, wearing a mini-skirt (Shera Warnock's) to school, Mr. Cummings and his pipe cleaner dog, Peter's version of "Swingin'," Brian Forsythe's band, Bobby Odom, Bobby Odom, Bobby Odom . . .

I think probably one memorable moment about high school happened afterwards. I got to Hinds and was around people who didn't have near the quality of our high school in so many areas - academics, sports, arts, people. It really made me appreciate the times I had at WCHS.
