Tara James Jackson

Twenty years already! Since high school, I received a BA from Alcorn in Pre-Law. After graduation, I got married to my college sweet heart(Peter) in July 1992. We then moved to Starkville. There we had our first child (Alexander) and I received a Masters of Agri-business Management in 1994. After that, my family moved to Athens, GA for 5 1/2 years. I began my career with the US Department of Agriculture as a statistician and had my daughter (Sydney)there. With the USDA, we moved to Little Rock, AR for 2 1/2 years. In 2001, we moved to the DC Metro area. I worked in DC from 2001-2006 as a Statistician. In 2005, I obtained my Real Estate License and left the USDA in February of 2006. I am now a full-time Realtor and I love it. My children are the joy of my life. My husband loves sports, so we are usually very busy all year round with soccer, basketball, baseball, track, and football.

I loved my high school experience. It was so great! I remember the PEP Ralleys and wearing the football players jersey. I remember skipping out on lunch to go to KFC for the 99 cent snack pack. It was so great hanging out at spots that I would really be upset if I found out that my children were there. I remember marching in Big Blue. Football games full of attendees. It was a wonderful experience and each of you in the Class of 1988 attributed to it.
