Paul Lewis

After high school I went to Hinds for two years then on to Southern Miss. Graduated in 1994 and got married to Leigh after 7 years of dating. My first job was as a teacher, football coach, and softball coach in Purvis, MS for five years, then on to Lawrence County, MS where I coached football and girls soccer. We went to Sylvester, GA for one year and back to South Jones High School in Ellisville, MS for three years. At South Jones I taught, coached football, girls soccer, and fastpitch softball. We moved to Missouri in 2005 which we had wanted to do for years. We live in Marshfield, MO and I am a teacher, football coach and girls soccer coach.
We have a cabin on the Lake of the Ozarks (which is why we moved up here) and I love to fish every chance I get when I am not coaching.
Who would have thought that I would become a teacher. I didn't like school back then and still don't like it now, but I love coaching the kids.

My best memories are of football for all of my high school years and all of those great guys (William Prince, Tony Major, Jack Muirhead, Wayne Walters, Lee Smith, Tony Collins, Tom Lee, Greg Carter,etc., etc.) I have great memories of hanging out with William and all the guys. I remember Nancy R. Johnson's English class. Leigh and I started dating the summer before our senior year, and 21 years later, are still going strong.
