Karla Wooten Ashley

Wow... Time has really passed quickly. So what have I been up to? When we graduated, I went to Holmes Community College for 2 years, Then on to the University Medical Center for two years, where I received my BS in Occupational Therapy.

I lived in Baton Rouge for about a year and believe it or not missed Vicksburg desperately... (That or got tired of being flipped off by all the LSU fans for my Ole Miss stuff all over my car)

Moved home, got married, had two kids, got divorced and started to remember who the real Karla was again.

I am currently working at Good Samaritan Physical Therapy. I am the director of Industrial Medicine. I probably wear steel toed boots and blue jeans, just as often as I wear scrubs and tennis shoes.

When I am not at work, I am either at home, working in my house or yard; or at some type of sporting event that my boys are involved in at the time.

Life remains busy, not a dull moment in the day. But you know what? I wouldn't have it any other way.

Wow when I think of high school, my two memories, although not both of them my favorite.....

One was the day that all the guys rebelled and wore mini skirts to school... Wow, remember those knobby knees?

The other was the time that Coach Young caught me in the smoking area and made me run the track until I felt like throwing up.. I remember her asking me if she would ever catch me in the smoking area again... I replied, " No ma'am, you will never CATCH me".
