Leslie Ross Snodgrass

About 2 weeks after graduation I had to have major back surgery (spinal fusion) due to a broken vertebrae. I got on my feet just in time to start college at Hinds in the fall of 89.

After graduating from Hinds in 91, I transferred to Ole Miss. I graduated from Ole Miss in 93 with a degree in public administration and moved back to Vicksburg for several years.

In the fall of 99, I took a job investigating healthcare professionals so I moved to the Jackson area to be closer to my work. I initially investigated nurses but later switched to investigating physicians.

I met the love of my life in 2005 and we were married in 2007.

I have several memories from high school that stick out in my mind, but I think one of the best was the Senior Party at Eagle Lake that Rusty Penley put together. About half of the senior class was there and this was also the same half of the student body that was absent from school the following day. I think a good time was had by all that night. . . at least that is what is reflected in the photos.

My favorite teachers were Mrs. Meeks, Mr. Stroud and Mrs. Craft. (I was shocked and sorry to hear of Mrs. Craft's passing last year.)

There were some great times and I would certainly do it over again. But, of course, there are a lot of things I would do differently.
