Chris Tillotson

After WC I attended Hinds and then Miss. State and graduated in 95' with a degree in Forestry. I knew God had something else in mind not long after that. Staying at home in Vicksburg was not my plan but that's what happened and just two years after graduation I met my wife, Celeste. We married in April of 98' and had our little girl in 2000! What a journey it's been. We started our photography studio in 2002 and still going down that road.

My best time at WC had to be Fridays and Friday night football. Being in Big Blue was fun no matter how tough things got, it was still fun. Playing in the rain for Homecoming....yeah, playing cards on graduation night, during the ceremony! Gulf Coast marcing contest, the Disney World trip and of course State Championship in football!

I had two favorites: Mrs. Dawn Meeks and Mrs. Emily Moore. They both had to put up with me for two years and they were the best! Mrs. Meeks had just started her career and she had graduated from MSU! She was a tough teacher but she did more to get me ready for college than any other. Mrs. Moore taught me that I could write and made English as pleasant as it could be.

Never in my dreams did I think I would be making a living in photography! Photographing some of my high school friends and classmates children is very cool to me.

Hopefully doing what God wants me to do...I don't know what that will be.

I would love to do high school over. I would like to go back and smack some of the punks back then...it may would have changed them before it was too late. I would do my homework and listen to my teachers a little more.
