David Leita

David Leita, 78, passed away September 5, 2021. David was born in Wood-Hi, Victoria County Texas on November 4, 1942 to the late Angelina Janicek and Benjamin Leita. David served his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from DuPont as an operator and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. David is survived by his sons, David J. Leita of Victoria, Jack Leita (Amy) of Inez; sister, Mildred Bradley of Telferner; grandchildren, Nicholas Leita, Savannah Leita, Chandler Leita, Richard Leita, Jace Leita, Garrett Leita and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Soto, Angelina Soto, Anabel Soto, Simon Hargrove, Olivia Walker and Zoey Leita. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Lee Leita and brothers, Ervin and Leon Leita. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021 from 5-7 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with a rosary to be recited at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 2 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will be at Wood-Hi Cemetery at 3:30 PM.
