Jeanette and I attended Sunday School classes at Trinity Lutheran Church from an early age.  We gathered in the basement each Sunday to sing hymns and pray.  Afterward we would split into classes by age and do Bible study.  We didn't seem to meet once we left classes at Trinity until one of our reunions at Victoria Country Club when we visited and I found she was suffering with cancer.  Her death was not a shock, but a shame.  Here we are so may years later and still no cure for cancer.

Janette was a precious girl.... I had several classes with her , and she was alwys friendly... always wore a smile... know she is now truly at peace after such a long, difficult time... yes, Barbara, no cure for cancer ...yet.... we need to pray for that.....

It is so sad the passing of time and the heartaches many of our classmates have suffered.

Surely cancer will be a thing of the past someday.  But knowing there is a better place we are going makes life worth living.

Peace to Janette and all those we have lost.
