I have been a salon owner since 1964. I have won 5 (5 place) trophies in hair styling...at local and district levels. I was selected to go to Paris, France to join one of the world's largest styling companies. Unfortunately this did not work out because of family obligations and reasons beyond my control. I have instructed and taught several classes in advanced hairstyling. I also worked for Helene Curtis, Loreal, Clairol, Roux, etc. as a color technician. I invented and patented a unique warming device for any and all types of liquids. It has been distributed throughout the USA. My invention was chosen in 1992 to be displayed at the National Inventors Expo in Washington, DC.....only 99 inventions were selected to join this event in America. For the past few years, I have been an inventor's consultant for the Arizona Patent Services in Phoenix, AZ. I obtained a massage therapist degree now for over 15 years with more than 15 diplomas in advanced massage techniques. I am also classified as a Reiki Master (using energy balancing techniques) and seeing miracles happen right before me. I have acted in 3 movies that have been filmed in and around the Victoria area. With my fortunate training in the Readywriting course in high school, it has developed throughout the years in helping me become a writer. I am presently involved in writing a book called....'Thank YOu Lord, You Did It Again'. Currently I am a columnist for the Victoria Advocate. I am a complete believer that if we have just a flicker of HOPE, it can flame into a phenominal world of talents.

Hey little buddy....I guess you're young enough to still be called that.....right? Seems like you are older than me....by one half of a month. Did we think we'd ever get here and be happy also? Well, well, well...it's about time you wrote about yourself. We all think you are quite the SPECIAL STINGEREE and are so delighted on how you operate the class website so preofessional and with a nothing less than perfect manner. We are all praying for you for the best of good health. Remember back in our time, Geritol had the best slogan...If you have your health, you have everything. Still true today. We are also all praying that you continue to live a long life far beyond us all because we don't know who we could get to take your place. So take care of yourself and it will make our lives complete too. Love you lots....By the way, my daughter who is a CPA in Austin also lives in Roundrock....it is beautiful there.

Well I guess we have a full year to wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Can we blame it on a senior moment that it slipped my mind??? I know this is the ONLY way I could get by with it.....right?
