I enjoyed my high school yrs alot. I didn't like missing school because I didn't want to miss out on any fun. I was in choir and rejoined the band my senior year, and had a blast. Some of my best memories were just hanging out with friends. My best friends were Mona, Laura, Rhonda, Liz, Billie, John Paul, Terry, David, John, Kenneth, Jay and Mark. We had some really great times.

I married Malcolm Janise in 1984 and had 2 beautiful children. I graduated with a Nursing Degree from Lamar Univ. in 1994. I divorced and was later remarried to Jim Dawson in 1996. He was career military and we spent 13yrs stationed at Ft.Drum, NY and twice at Ft. Hood, TX. I had my third child in 1998. My husband retired from the Army in 2009, and we moved back to Vidor. My husband is working contract in Iraq, and I am taking a break from nursing. I enjoy working in my yard and repurposing old architectural pieces, and I love being a Mimi!
