In August 2007, Tony Hill visited the home of Mr. Steve Donahue, one of our 6th grade teachers, in Michigan.  Pictured below are Mr. Donahue and his family.  His wife's name is Cyndi, and their son Ben was just heading off to start college at Ohio State.

Here are Mr. Doug Sorenson '68 & Mrs. Jo Sorenson.   Mr. Sorenson was our first male classroom teacher.  Mrs. Sorenson substituted for him during part of our year while Mr. Sorenson developed the reading program.

The following photos are from the Pony Basketball Reunion held July 29-30, 2011.  Special honored guest was former basketball coach (and our 3rd, 4th, 9th & 10th grade phy. ed. teacher and high school health teacher) Mr. Gary Schuler.  Be sure to read Duane's write-up of the reunion in the Message Forum.

In August 2011, Tony Hill visited Mrs. Fern Gilbert, one of our 6th grade teachers, at her home in Richland, Wash.  Here is Mrs. Gilbert at 94. (Mrs. Gilbert died December 10, 2012 at age 95.)

In May 2012, Sophia Maruska, daughter of Alan Maruska & Lana Walker '81, sang at the Warren Senior Citizens' Center.  In attendance were Mr. L. Pedar Larson, one of our fifth grade teachers, and Mr. O. Jay Peyton, one of our high school science teachers.  Also pictured is Mrs. Karen Larson.

In December 2013, the WAO Education Foundation established a special fund in tribute to Miss Carol Anderson, one of our 4th grade teachers, who has taken a leading role in the foundation since its inception and is currently its president.

Mrs. Irene Grange '31, Mrs. Lyla Larson '43 and Mr. Doug Sorenson '68 were our elementary school teachers who were also alumni of Warren High.  (Also, Mrs. Kathy Edgar '69 was our elementary school librarian.)  Mark Maruska '71 was the one and only high school teacher who was an alumnus.
