Tracy was one of the sweetest girls in our class, and really a fun person to be around, although she was super quiet about how funny she was and how silly she could be. I have fond memories of sitting next to her in band and always had a lot of fun with her. I was so sad to hear of her passing and my prayers and thoughts go out to her family as they walk through her passing together.

I agree with all of the above responses.  What a lovely person Tracy truly is.  I can see her in band with that clarinet and trying to figure out the next trick with a twinkle in her eye.  Thoughts are with the family.

This is incredibly sad news.  My only memories of Tracy are of her being lively and vibrant.  She was always a lot of fun in school. For some reason I remember we stood next to each other for the class photos at both reunions.

This is a random story:  In 5th grade, Mr. Awes challenged the class with a trivia question and said whoever was the first one to get it right would get to go anywhere they want in the school and do anything they want.  Tracy correctly named Fay Wray as the woman in "King Kong."  Mr. Awes let her visit the teachers' lounge and bought her a strawberry soda out of the machine.  (I remembered this while showing my class a movie that Fay Wray was in.)

I can only imagine the terrible sense of loss that her husband Mark and Tracy's family are feeling right now, losing Tracy without any warning at all.  Peace to her survivors and to her memory.

This is Tracy's confirmation class photo from OSL/Melo, 1980.

Tracy: May the energy that brought forth that great smile be there always, and greet us when we arrive on the other side.  Condolences to the family.  - Duane

I'm still in shock.  I join in on so many of us who knew Tracy in offering our deepest  sympathies to her family and friends.  She was such a beautiful person.  It makes it so hard for those of us the same age realizing time is so short here on earth and that we have to live the fullest life we can while we are here.  I just saw her last year when I was home visiting, this just makes this so much harder.  I'm so saddened to hear of the news.  My condolences to her family and closest friends.  May you find peace and confort in knowing that her loss is felt by all who knew and loved her in high school and anywhere she met people.  Her smile could lift anyone who saw it.  Rest in peace my friend.
