Marie Battistoni Way

After graduating, I had a few different jobs.
I worked at The Bristol Company, where I met my husband of 55 years. We have three grown children and three grandchildren.
We have lived in Middlebury for 52 of those 55 years. I started working again in 1978 after my last child started school, for Regional School Dist. #15 Middlebury, Southbury.
I retired in 2005 from my job as Food Service Manager at Middlebury Elementary School after working for 29 years in food service. I LOVE retirement!! I am doing volunteer work at ACTS 4 Christian Ministry on Thomaston Ave. in Waterbury.

I loved all the fun things about school; friends, the games, cheerleading, the proms, decorating for the prom, the Y.W.C.A at club DENADA., the dancing, my first love( K.S.), the Handy Kitchen for a soda after school.
I remember bulling school to visit the SEVEN CHURCHES with Carol DelNigro. Nothing ever happened!!!! But I was sure nervous..
