Alex passed away in November of 1988 at age 33. Gone way too soon.  We attended the Senior Prom 1973 together and kept in touch for years after graduation. We corresponded by writing letters weekly back and forth while he was away at UConn/Storrs.  He was sick for a long time. He put out an album shortly before he died and it was reviewed in Rolling Stone Magazine to critical acclaim. I purchased the LP, it was excellent.  Alex was a great guy and I feel blessed to have dated him after we graduated. We had great times. I haven't checked as of today, but on my first visit to this site, he was not listed as a member of the Class of '73. His name needs to be added to our ranks.

Deb, I had forgotten that you and Alex went to the prom together. He was a very talented musician and an overall great guy and I do think about him even now. I especially remember his smiley-face pocket shirts!! Thanks for the remembrance.

Alex and I were classmates and friends in Prospect at Algonquin School before we went on to Wilby. He was a good friend and a wonderful person. I think about him every once in a while and the memories always bring a smile to my face.
