Roland Robustelli

Went on to UCONN Wtby branch for 2 years then onto Storrs for a BA in Psychology. Traveled to Florida where I married Monica (Kloss) She is Chuck Kloss'- also from our class - sister) in 1996 and stayed in Fla. until 2006. Ended up working in the Air Conditioning field for Johnson Controls. We then moved to our current home in Wake Forest (Raleigh) NC. love the area and the people. Retired in 2010 and have been keeping busy with bee keeping and horticulture.

Best memory is all the great friends made during that time ( Billy Matz and Chuck Kloss among them). Playing football and attending the great basketball games. Remember the cheers after a bad call from the ref?: "Nuts and Bolts, Nuts and Bolts...WE GOT SCREWED!" Starting to date (Patty McClosky and Alice Yasmir) and just growing up in general. Fun teachers...Mr. Quattropani in Physical Science, Mrs Cullinan in English (had a bad crush on her). How about Mrs Price in US History.." Hartford is the capitol of what?...That's right, Connecticut" She was pretty funny. Then there was Mr. Wise for homeroom and Mr. Killer for BSCS. And Mr. Dubuque for Algebra and Math classes. Mr. Scacco and Dennis Murnane (with the Penguin walk??) And let's not forget the illegal stuff outside by the park.
Favorite funny story is while we were rehersing for the senior class play it was the end of the night and Billy Matz and I thought we'd hit one of the restrooms and smoke a dubie before heading home...so we were very stoned walking back to the auditorium. Well, as sson as we get there Mr. Scacco, who was our director for the play, says, "OK Roland let's get up there and sing "It Takes a Woman" (from Hello Dolly). So I get up there with Matz and the whole crew and sing the first line and just start laughing uncontrollably on stage. Scacco looks up and asks what's going on and to start it again, so we made it through but it was the last time we tried THAT!
