Wow that covers a lot of time. Work for Aetna, Inc, for 33 years-1978 was an important year for me, all in some sort of Corporate Real Estate function. I started out as a Pension Fund Accountant, moved to Property Management, then controller of Hartford area Investments including the Hartford Civic Center), then when my company decided investing in Real estate was not their primary business along with the company shift to Health Care, I moved to Corporate Services for owned and leased real estate. I have held postions in Project Management, Facility Management, Lease Compliance and Auditing (which I term as my expertise as I my efforts have yielded over $30M of savings for my company throughout the years. We are currently an outsourced organization so I am one of a thin in house staff that remains. I currently hold and Masters in Corporate Real Estate and a Real Property Manager designations. But all work and no play is not the way I roll. I played competetive fast pitch softball till I was 43 and played in several National tournements. I wish I could have played longer but major ankle and several knee operations later provented that. My wife and I officially became "our parents" and lived life through our kids. My son was in a band that toured the country twice (in an RV we bought for them that is now sitting in my driveway horray). We have a grand baby by him and his wife who live about 2 hours away. Our daughter, graduated Summa Cum Laude and played College softball at 5ft. 2in. and 105lbs. I went to as many games as possible since I Coached her as she grew up. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment is yet to come as she works at Harvard and is pursuing her MBA there. I know, I know, I am rambling but I am truly proud of my kids and wish for them all the love in the world.
