I liked that version. Havnt heard it ina while. Off to utube to bring back a few memories!

Funny stuff about Barb having a smoke after her interview.

I still remember Puddys eddie Murphy stand up type act. Was that the senior or Junior show you did that frank.

Speeding ina porsche while drinking tea stands out. Guess my memory aint too bad :P

Wow! I did an Eddie Murphy stand up? I must have been really bad, because I blocked it from my memeory.

The thing I really remember doing was the Copa Cabana.

Lip syncing to Barley Manenough, I mean Barry Manilow and tryning not to watch Murph, Herriman and Nick Anderson put the show on behind me because I knew I would laugh!

I've moved quite a few times, and have done quite a bit of purging of memorabilia (like that ridiculous prom champagne flute...), but I think I may have been unable to part with the VHS tapes. I think I may have both the Junior and Senior Shows! I'll see about getting it transferred to a DVD.

Scott Herriman

If you can dump it down to computer (or mail to me and I can transfer) I could see about compiling a DVD for everyone at the reunion (and those unable to attend.) I am possibly providing the entertainment for the evening, so I fully intend on projecting all the insanity on my 8X10' screen. Joe Murphy in a dress on widescreen. Now that's HOT!

Scott,

give me an email address or some way to contact you/get you the tape. I'll try to dig it up over the next couple of days.

totally getting a kick out of how pretty much nobody looks any different than we all did back in school.... well, some of us had more hair.

as far as class show, or any other video folks have, I do professional video services and duplication. I would be more than happy to clean up the video and create/duplicate DVD's for everyone....

Catherine Luzar (Rush)

Just had to add my 2 cents to the silly conversation. Cathy Zinn (Kurz) just sent me an email today with this website. Thanks, Cathy. Scott Hancock, you are right, pretty much everyone looks the same (or only slightly different). I'm going to try to post some pics of my family tonight.
Boy would I love to see that senior show again!!! Scott Herriman had the longest, skinniest legs I ever saw doing that Copa Cabana dance.
I hope someone locates John Batty (and gets him to post a profile). He was the very first person to talk to me when I transferred in to Mott in the middle of junior year. I sure would like to thank him for that.

Congrats, Scott and Katie Hancock, for staying together for so long. It's been more than 20 years, now! Way to go, guys!!!!
Just out of curiosity, aside from Scott Hancock, has anyone else married their high school sweetheart?

04/23/08 02:51 AM #25

Scott Hancock

thanks Cathy, Katie and I aren't the only ones... I know Jason Miller and Angela are still together...

by the way... the funniest moment of that Virginia beach band trip was locking Batty out on the balcony of the hotel room naked .... if memory serves me correct, Mrs. Kraft was down on the beach looking up... this should be a lesson for all, never venture out on a balcony in only a towel.

04/23/08 12:40 PM #26

Leslee Walker (Badenhoop)

Virginia Beach was a blast, even though me and Michelle Schoenick were fried redder than lobsters and had a terrible time sitting on the bus for the ride home. I still have pictures from the trip. My son is a 9th grader at Mott this year and boy has Mott changed since we were there! All of the classes are now block and you are only in your classes 3x a week.

04/23/08 01:16 PM #27

Catherine Zinn (Kurz)

I know that is right Leslee. I don't know who remembers me on the bus walking back to the bathroom and all I could think is WHY is my nose so close to my eyes. OMG! I was so sunburned that when we stopped somewhere for a break I called my mom and said please tell my boyfriend I cannot see him today. I had blisters.

I cannot believe you have a ninth grader.. Though my sister has a....??? I think he is ninth he will by 16. GREAT KID! But he is in that advanced school for smart kids... Didn't get it from Heather... ha, ha...

Barb Sias (Chick)

Thanks Cathy about the feedback on Bryan's book. He's had a lot of fun doing the school visits. He just visited Grayson where he went to school. Which to add to an earlier post - we were highschool sweethearts - together 20 years and married now for almost 12. That and all this 20 year reunion stuff just doesn't seem possible!

Kelly Malcolm (Lackowski)

I did marry high school sweetheart--Scott Schroeder class of 1988! We divorced 2 years later--I have a wonderful son out of it all!

I wish I coudl go back to my High School days, I would have attended the Talent Show and other events! Crazy me I was so in love--so I spent all of my time with him! Ugh! If I only knew what I now know!

So does anybody remember me? I did hang out with alot of the class of 1988!

04/26/08 02:40 AM #30

Scott Keselowski

I remember you but it's funny, some of these people I am like geesh, I dont remember them at all! I guess we were all in our own little bubbles somewhat.

04/26/08 08:12 AM #31

Frank Puddy

I remember you Kelly. We ran track together. Though that time seems like a blip on the radar screen now.

Scott's right. It is sad that I don't remember everybody. I guess I get a bit nostalgic looking back on it now, wishing I had not kept myself in so much of a "bubble".

It's funny being a teacher now, seeing it from the other side. All the "drama" and how certain kids are included or excluded. It hasn't changed that much.

Murph,

Speaking of teaching, Mrs. Lee subbed for the other art teacher in our building yesterday. She retired last year and has been subbing pretty regularly.

Kelly,

You asked if anyone remembered you... I do!! And, I did remember that you had your older boyfriend who you were always with. I remember that you were really pretty and seemed shy! But, nice and fun.

:)Ronda

Kelly Karns (Siddiqui)

Hi Kelly,

I remember you too.. We were one of the few "Kelly's" at Mott...

05/01/08 10:32 AM #34

Kelly Karns (Siddiqui)

Frank,

I would love to have a copy of the Senior show too. And Junior if you get that. I think I did some silly dance routine...My daughter might get a kick out of it.

Didn't you go to Pierce too?

05/01/08 03:26 PM #35

Scott Herriman

Lol...thanks for admiring my long skinny legs! I worked hard to get them that way :) We intentionally had me in a brown polyester suit...it was about 2 sizes small and it hurt like hades.

I really liked the 'Eat It' skit....not to mention the guys that played 'Spirit of The Radio' by Rush did one heck of a job covering it. i am pretty sure i saw somewhere that some of those guys are still playing.

Another fun memory:
Eric Jenkins, Mike Goddard and I skipped school early (shocker!) and got in Mike's red bomber. We cut holes in paper sacks and put them over our heads as we tore past that lady who monitored the parking lot. I am pretty sure we cut across the grass and scared the old lady pretty good...we were amazed to find out the next day we got caught. Not like many other people at Mott drove a red Reliant. I think our "punishment" was walking around the schoolyard (on a gorgeous spring day) for 2 periods while we picked up trash. What a deal...skip school to go drinking on a pontoon on someone's lake and then get rewarded the NEXT day by getting to leisurely stroll the school campus and pretend to do yardwork. Life was Beautiful!

I remember a particular 'rap' that Adam Koenig and I co-wrote.

I remember chewing working summers with Dave Bihl and his Dad (a really cool guy!)

I remember Eric Jenkins' "farewell" party....that was a party!!!!!!!

I remember knowing that EJ was the one that you went to if you wanted beer.

I remember having my heart destroyed at least twice....but i can't remember the details anymore.

I remember walking into the teachers lounge and wading through the cloud of cigarette smoke to talk to Mr. DeRoo.

I remember having lunch at least twice a week with Brian Patton at that Walt's Coney Island, a place i still visit when I am in town....and is EXACTLY the same.

I remember singing Just The Way You Are for a girl i was in love with at the junior talent show, who never came to hear me do it.

I remember having mono and being so completely out of it that when we had the National Honor Society awards banquet, my Dad slipped me a $50 that I didn't find in my suitcoat until my Sophomore year in college when i was rushing a frat.....beers on me that night:)

Sorry for waxing....

Kelly Malcolm (Lackowski)

Frank,

I agree about the Drama being the same. I teach as well and I see it all the time! And having a Junior in High School I see it all the time!

I also wish that I would not have put myself in the "bubble".

My 12 year old has joined the Track team! Wow I felt like I was back in high school.

Did somebaody say Pierce? I went there also!

OK, I remember Walt's coney. What was the name of the resraunt on the corner of Scott Lake Rd?

Wow! I am loving hearing the good times!

Kelly

Was that place called Franks Alot? It was on the corner of Scott Lk Rd and Dixie. I remember us working there one day to raise money for when we did The Sound Of Music play in my 10th grade year. Ahhh the memories. Makes me miss the "good" ole days. No bills,no worries life was wonderful.Just like the old saying if we only knew than what we know now.

It's nice reading everyones posts here about their memories.

05/01/08 11:29 PM #38

Scott Keselowski

Franks alot! yay!

05/02/08 12:30 PM #39

Frank Puddy

Kelly,

I did go to Pierce also, for 7th and 8th grade, then we moved so I went to Crary for 9th grade, then Mott.

I'm shocked you remembered me from Pierce. It was not the best time of my life, nor was I any where near popular.

As far as the video goes, it looks like there are a couple of people who are willing to make dvd's for everyone, so.........

Funny you guys mention Walts Coney. My old neighbor growing up owned that. He would drop of sacks of coney's to my parents every so often.

Hey all,

How has every one been???? Im still here in wonderful Waterford. My son is getting ready to graduate from Mott this year. Its funny now walking through the halls of the school as a parent... some things change and some things don't... by the way, walts coney is still there and has not changed a bit.
