HAPPY NEW YEAR!

& Thank You From The Committee wink

If you were able to attend the Class Reunion festivities, we trust you had an enjoyable time!  Here’s a brief recap…

  • Starting Friday night, many of us met in the Village at TosaFest – outside and inside the Café Hollander – to socialize, eat, tip a few, and watch the Packers.   We’re certain that we had a better night than the Green Bay Packers!
  • Then on Saturday morning, Laurie Sutphin organized a wonderful tour of Wauwatosa West high school, followed by the Tosa West Rock signing that Ross Easton had painted white earlier that morning.Hopefully, our signage will last for a while. But, no one is betting on that!
  • Saturday evening at The Brewhaus in Delafield was OUTSTANDING!   The venue was beautifully decorated and arranged by the planning committee and the Brewhaus staff.   Plenty of food and drink, door prizes, and more importantly 120+ of us getting reacquainted, socializing, and just reminiscing all those fun, embarrassing, and good the times we had - not to mention catching up on what’s transpired in our individual lives over these past 50 years.

What a fantastic job done by our Planning Committee!   We believe the event was a huge success!  We recognize that some of you traveled a great distance to attend our event.  Even from France.   Bravo!

Suffice it to say that without your ticket purchases, your donations, plus other contributions none of this would have been possible.   In fact, some of you donated “to our cause” but could not make the trip nor attend our event.  So we would like to thank those individuals as well.

We would also like to thank Rick Haugen for donating our Event Insurance, and Tom Glatch who photographed our event.   These photos will be posted to our website shortly, along with your photos which you are free to upload.

And lastly, to all those Committee members whose names were not mentioned here explicitly but provided so much of their time, energy, and resources week after week and month after month - Thank You.

Now…..

We’ve received requests from some alumni to distribute contact information of registered alumni so that they can stay in touch with classmates and friends.   You will recall that when you registered on Class Creator, many of you provided personal email addresses.

We can certainly provide this information, but to do this we need to respect everyone’s privacy.   Therefore, if you send (email) Mike Valentino your permission to provide your Class Creator registered email address to other classmates, Mike will put together a list of classmates’ email addresses and distribute them to those who have provided permission.  Just email Mike at mailto:mwvalentino@gmail.com expressing your permission to do so.

Or, just private message someone on Class Creator for whom you want to obtain their email and ask them for their contact info!

Because of your donations, we've extended our subscription to Class Creator for 1 more year!

This means ads-free service and support.  We hope that you will stop by to this website frequently and check up on former classmates, contribute to the User Forum / Message board, and more.

We will also be meeting again this month to discuss which charitable organizations to donate any excess funds.

Thank You Wauwatosa West Class of ’74 Alumni and all of your guests for making this time together so special!

And finally - Please stay in touch with former classmates and friends.   As they say, life is finite and none of us are getting younger.   Staying in touch keeps our friendships and memories alive.  It is what makes this Wauwatosa High School Class of ’74 so special.  You never know.   We may just do this again in the not too distant future!
