It is my understanding that Dave Hansen recently passed. I believe Dave was living in Pagosa Springs, CO. If someone has a link to his obituary, please let me or Carol Dralle Lang know. Thank you..
So sad to hear of Dave's passing. He had messaged earlier this summer to say that he was struggling with an unusually aggressive form of skin cancer but he planned on attending the reunion. Dave was a truly nice person to the very core of his being. I don't remember him ever saying an unkind thing about anyone. He had an enthusiasm for life and an incredible sense of humor. Dave was an inseparable friend of Bob Potratz. I know how hard he was hit by the loss of Bob. I guess they are together again, laughing and just "goofing around". When we were younger, we had a tradition of getting together on his birthday to drink a cold one. Started summer after our senior year. I'll drink a cold one each year in your memory. Miss you my friend. Best wishes, Kevin.
So sorry to learn of Dave's passing. I have fond memories, including seeing Bob Dylan at the Dane County Coliseum in the late '70s. It appeared that he really liked Pagosa Springs, an exceptionally pretty part of the Rockies. I'm glad for that. RIP!

Such a sweet guy in school! So sad to hear about his struggle. Many will remember him fondly.
