Harry Jean Braun

Harry Braun (September 3, 1941 - January 1, 2016)

                                                

Dr. Harry J. Braun, III, 74 of Findlay, Ohio passed away on January 1, 2016. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 3, 1941 to the late Harry J. and Georgia L. (Thurman) Braun, II. Harry is survived by his wife, Alna Braun; children, Sarah (Scott) Hayes of Forest, VA and Matthew (Tina) Braun of Van Wert, OH; grandchildren, Jeff, Jacob, Joshua, Emma, Abbey, Megan, and Eliza; sister and brother-in-law Ruthie and David Mulder; niece and nephews, Katie Mulder, Steve Mulder, Michael (Mary) Mulder.

Harry graduated from Southwest Missouri State University and earned his Doctorate Degree in Education Administration from the University of Missouri. He retired as college president from Danville Area Community College, Danville, IL as the college president. Following his retirement, Harry served as the vice president of Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay. He was a member of the New Life Assembly of God where he served on the staff as the Life Group Director.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. January 7, 2016 at the New Life Assembly of God Church, 3120 Norcrest Street in Findlay, and also for one hour 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. January 8, before the 11:00 a.m. service at the church with Pastor Dutch Vander Vlucht officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the LifeHouse Church, 9196 Liberty Union Road, Van Wert, Ohio 45891 or New Life Assembly of God.
