Stevie Chenoweth Prosperi (August 11, 1941 - August 28, 1993)

From Judith Ann Crowe Renwick
Stevie and I had been good friends in junior high and continued our friendship at St. Luke's School of Nursing. We were married on the same day, and she and her husband moved to Columbia where we we already living. We hung out together as young marrieds - played cards, went to the laundromat together, etc. She and Ray moved back to St. Louis after Ray graduated from Mizzou, soon after their older daughter was born. Stevie died in 1993 as a resuLt of heart damage from the chemo drug she was taking for cancer.

I didn't know Stephany well in high school, and was unaware of her adult history. So I am thankful to Judy for her message. We lost Stephany too soon. It is nice to know that she led a good life with a nice family.

I remember when Stephany and Ray were members of Central Pres. She bravely "fought the good fight" when diagnosed with cancer.
