Kent and Brent were two of my best friends from Webster. They were both enthusiastic and fun to be with. We were definitely in the minority when we formed the YFC Bible club along with Martha Hudson and a few others. We met right there at school. We didn’t mind at all being the “religious kids,” although I wish we would have known a better way to celebrate our faith.

Martha and I were making plans to meet up with Brent in Dallas a few years ago when she got word that he had died. So sorry that we missed out getting to see him again.

Kent and I were in "bloc" class together in 7th and 8th grade.  So I know him much better than I knew Brent.  It was clear that both were earnest Christians whlo lived thier faith 24/7.  I think we all respected their ability to do that while enjoying adolescense.  Good models.

Brent was my first "boyfriend."  In fifth and sixth grade, he, Kent, Sarah Shilling, and I were recess buddies.  I still have a photo of Brent and me in our stylish black pea coats on the playground at Shall Elementary.  We reconnected  when we were both living in the Dallas area and had a delightful time reminiscing over lunch one day.  He and Kent came from a wonderful Christian family and stayed true to their values and beliefs throughout their livetimes.  May they rest in peace.

I remember Brent and Kent very well being another set of twins.   There were I believe 7 sets of twins in our class of '59.  Wonderful memories.   Unfortunately my brother died 5 years ago.
