Gloria Kraut Bahm (December 20, 1941 ~ March 19, 2021)

Gloria Jean Kraut Bahm, age 79, passed away ay UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA. She was born in St. Louis, MO, to the late Raymond Thomas and Bertha Mae Bartlett Kraut.
Jean was formerly employed by the National Bank in North East for 19 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, where she was actively involved with the pre-school program, church choir, and acted as receipts treasurer for the church and pre-school. Jean was a selfless, kind woman who dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed sewing, going to concerts at the Warner Theater with her friends, and spending time with her dear friend Eleanor.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Raymond Kraut, Jr.; and a sister, Sandra Lynn Wright. Jean is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert Charles Bahm, Jr. whom she married October 16, 1965; children, Debbie Karsh (Jeffrey) of Pittsburgh, Robert Bahm III of North East, Steven Bahm (Gretchen) of North East, and Robin Luke (Michael) of KS; grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Ryan, Alison, Brendan, Mackenzie, Rhiannon, and Jocelyn; and great-grandchildren Hayleigh, Laurel, and Owen; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be calling hours at the First Presbyterian Church of North East, 25 West Main Street, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 27, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. The service will be in-person, following COVID guidelines with masks and social distancing; it will also be streamed via Facebook Live on the church Facebook page. Officiating the service is the Rev. Gregg Townsend. Interment will be held at North East Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North East Pre-School, 25 West Main Street, North East, PA. Please send condolences to elkinfh.com.
