Claudia Archibald Byington (July 14, 1941 ~ September 15, 2017)

Claudia G. Byington passed away at the age of 76, after a 3-year battle with Alzheimer's. Claudia held an Associate's degree in Accounting. For many years she cared for her family, and for 16 years she cared for her husband, Marv, during his battle with a degenerative disease. She was a unique artist who mastered many mediums over the years including oil painting, calligraphy, pen-and-ink drawing, paper making and hand bookbinding.
Claudia is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Linda, daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Phil; and two grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Clarice.
A Celebration of Life for Claudia will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at the Chapel of Macy & Son in McMinnville, OR. Reception to follow.
