Warren Lee Brown

Warren Brown (February 26, 1942 ~ June 11, 2022)

                                 

Warren Lee Brown died on June 11th, 2022 in Pleasant Hill, Contra Costa, CA. He was born on February 26th, 1942 to Warren I. and Helen Peck Brown in St. Louis, MO. He grew up in St. Louis and Webster Groves, along with his younger brother Murray. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University, he served as an officer in the U.S. Army as an aviator in Seoul, Korea.

Warren and the mother of their twins, Susan Ann (Cameron), settled in Huntington Beach, CA. While there, Warren obtained his MBA from California State University, Long Beach. He went on to work in the healthcare management industry as a marketing manager and consultant. For the last 30+ years of his career, he taught business to students at St. Mary’s Moraga, the University of Phoenix, and UC Berkeley Extension program to name a few.

Warren met the love of his life, Helen Larson, in Walnut Creek, where they resided for the past three decades. Together they enjoyed their beautiful garden, their beloved cats, road trips to wine country, and taking advantage of the bay area’s culinary scene. He was a lifelong fan of Cardinals baseball and 49ers football.

He’s survived by his wife, his children Terry Cameron Brown and Laura (Kevin) Chavaree, and his brother Murray (Deborah) Brown; grandchildren Justine Brown, Karina and Lillian Chavaree, and Helen’s children Rick (Lynn) Bergquist, Ken (Pam) Bergquist, Barbie (John) Jacobs, and David (Sally) Bergquist, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
