Ken Nelson (August 3, 1941 - August 8, 2023)
 
Kenneth Roy Nelson, 82, passed away on August 8, 2023. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Tara. He was the proud father of two sons, David and Steven, and three daughters, Stacy, Tania, and Morgan.
He enjoyed creating beautiful smiles as an orthodontist for his patients in Santa Maria for over 30 years. He also left his mark on Santa Maria with the addition of the Orion and Santa Maria Medical Dental Arts Buildings. He enjoyed connecting with the Santa Maria Community through Rotary, the Santa Maria Symphony, and church. A memorial service will be held August 26, 2023 at 11:00 am at Granite Springs Church, 1170 E. Joiner Pkwy, Lincoln, CA. Reception to follow.
