Donald Francis Schuette, 82, of Salisbury, NC passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital. Born April 13, 1941 in St. Charles, Missouri he was the son of the late George Edward Schuette and Mildred Hampton Schuette.
Mr. Schuette was a graduate of Bradley University, class of 1964, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business and was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. Mr. Schuette was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Salisbury. He loved fishing and cherished time spent with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane Maikels Schuette; son, Randall Schuette of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter, Robyn Shaylor (Keith) of Richfield, NC; brother, David Schuette (Jo) of High Ridge, MO; grandchildren, Corey Shaylor (Rachel), Kelsey Barringer (Gunnar), Katarina West (Trevor), Nicholas Schuette, Kyle Schuette; great-grandchildren, Emma Shaylor, Cooper Shaylor, Avery Barringer, and Briar Barringer.
Memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 28, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lara Musser-Gritter officiating. The family will greet friends following the service in Lewis Hall. Burial will be held at a later date in Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum, St. Louis, MO.
