What have you been up to since 1989?
Twenty years? I think I'm in denial. Well, after high school I headed off to UW-Madison for the better part of five years. In '94, I opened a small office here in Wisconsin for an outdoor publication based out of the Twin Cities. In '95, I took "the leap" and married my college sweetheart, Cheryl, who's now a middle school Spanish teacher here in West Bend. In '98, with my current business partner, started an advertising firm focused on serving companies in the outdoor industry. This past September Cheryl and I celebrated our 13th anniversary and in October the business celebrated its 10th. I feel fortunate to report everything is chuggin' along pretty darn well.
Most importantly, in April of '02 Cheryl and I had our first son, Caden, who's now a first grader at McLane Elementary. In March of '05, our resident comedian, Will, arrived on the scene. And, needless to say, Cheryl and I have been smiling ever since.
