A post-high-school "adventure":

I have lots of those because I take a trip every year with my best friend. I met her in the military 20 years ago and she has since moved here to Wisconsin. We have gone so many crazy and fun places....hopefully will try to put some photos on here soon.

The post-80's technology I can't live without:

Would definitely have to be my cell phone. How did we every get along with those "corded" phones we begged to have put in our bedrooms?

What I'm most proud of (after high school):

I am most proud of my children and watching them grow up.

What have you learned in the last 20 years?

I have learned that family is most important. The only thing I wanted to do when I graduated high school was move away from my annoying family. But ever since, I have been trying to find a way to come back to those who mean the most.

What have you been up to since 1989?

Right after high school I moved to Arizona for year and then moved back here to West Bend. Once I got back here I didn't know what I wanted to do or should be doing, so (smart me) I joined the military. That took me to South Carolina and Kansas for a few years. Then again in 1996 I returned to West Bend - this time married to my husband, Michael, who I met in the military. Then in 2002 I moved to Kansas City for a job with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and ever since that move I have been trying for a job transfer to Wisconsin so I can move back home. Apparently I don't like to stay in one place for very long, but I have decided that Wisconsin is my home (or at least home until my kids graduate from high school). I did receive a job with the U.S. Marshals Service so I was able to move back home last fall. Seeing as my youngest has only 5 years of school left, who knows where I might be off to next.

I volunteered to a 30 day tour of duty to help cleanup New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. It was a wonderful experience, yet heartbreaking to see the devastation.
