Arlene was a sweet wonderful girl who I always hoped to see at a reunion. When I found out what happened I lost my desire to go. We were very good friends and had many great times together. I will miss her dearly.

Malcolm you wont believe this.  Arlene was my best friend.  I was also friendly with her brother Marc.

I moved to Los Angeles, I moved to Denver met a man - long story short - his first cousin was Marc Potecha through marriage.

Life is weird...we are all still very much tied together.  And, I am so happy that I lived in Westbury and met so many wonderful people who still care like I do.

I took Arelene to our Senior Prom. I learned alot from being with her. We met up year's later in an NYC Vet's office, she looked great and had 2 matching dogs! Very complex, deep person. It's a shame she still isn't with us anymore. Still have the Polaroids of she and I all dressed up on my front lawn before prom.

We Went to the Copa after the prom, with 3 or 4 other couples. All the other gals ordered "baloney sandwiches", whatever. Arlene of course ordered a Shrimp Cocktail and Lobster Tails - that was Arlene!!

Arlene and I were friends in junior high....she lived only a couple of blocks away on Cambridge Road next to Fred Huff...We were all friendly and spent time at each others homes and often walked to and from school together... Good memories.   I was very saddened when I learned we had lost her.

Gail was indeed a special person. She was one of my first gal-friends in the neighborhood. I don’t remember how many people were in our “group” but we used to go over to her house every weekend and have make-out parties in the basement.

I remember she had a little white poodle that used to yap all the time; I think its name was Mona. Her parents had an extra long car that made it necessary to modify the garage so that it would fit inside. I think it was the talk of the neighborhood for a long time. She and Wendy were inseparable in those days, at least that’s the way I remember it. She was truly a “leader of the pack.” Those who knew her (and who didn’t?) felt great pain at her passing.
