ANOTHER 5 YEARS!

We are happy to announce that we will have our domain name, www.Westbury64.com, for another 5 years. We have purchased the rights to this name in the hope that this will help all the classmates of the Westbury Class of 1964 to be able to stay in touch and help plan future events.

Dear Classmates;

Over 50 years ago you selected me as the “most studious” member of our class. Over the last decades, my work as a professor supported that judgement as I have published many scientific articles and books. The reason for this email is that I have now written a book about us. I figured that it may be useful for us to look back at our lives, what we did well, where we succeeded and what contributions we made. It may also be useful to consider the opposite. That is also part of our record. The book is entitled, “Sunrise to Sunset: The Road We Traveled; How will History Judge the Baby Boomers?” It’s available on Kindle and on Amazon. I hope you find the book of interest bringing a smile to your face and, perhaps, a tear or two. Trust that everyone is well.

Welcome to the Westbury High School Class of 1964 Website that was created for our 50th Reunion.

The Reunion weekend was a great success and many have posted pictures to be enjoyed by all. This Home Page was originally just for the purpose of announcing the details of the plans of the Reunion events but, since that time has passed and we still want to stay in touch, we hope that this website will be a continuous method of communicating with your classmates. Please feel free to post information you would like to share with our class and let's stay in touch so we can, hopefully get together for future fun times even before our 60th Reunion!

The information below was for the planning of the 50th Reunion. We will keep it on the page for the present time in case a classmate logs on for the first time and wants to know what took place:

Please register and enter your information so email updates can be provided as our Reunion develops. Even if you cannot attend the Reunion or other events, this site will allow you to communicate with classmates and see familiar names once again.

We have booked the date of Friday, September 12th (2014) for our formal Reunion Reception at Dilettos Restaurant on Jericho Turnpike in Westbury at 6pm. Mark this date on your calendars!

We are planning on an "ice breaker" gathering for Thursday night, September 11th at the Sporting News Grill at the Holiday Inn on Old Country Road in Westbury anytime after 6pm where we can meet casually for those available the night before.

We are also planning a tour of our High School on Saturday, September 13th. Come for Breakfast at 10:30am in the Cafeteria followed by the tour.
