The 20th Year Reunion was great!!! I enjoyed the family day as well as the "night life". Looking forward to doing it again in 5 years, we will be in our 40's then, hard to believe! Those of you that missed the reunion were truly missed, hopefully we can all get together next time! Keep updating those profiles and pictures, the Web-Site has been great and thank you J.R. and Anne Marie for your administrative duties with the site. Looking forward to the next reunion! Love and God Bless each of you! p.s Thanks to each of you for your additional contributions to help make a great reunion including Shelly and Anne Marie's yard sale to finish it off! Great work girls! Thank you classmates, J.R., Becky, Anne Marie, Shelly, Kerri, Anna, Tammy, Sondra, & Lisa, I enjoyed working with you on the reunion. I miss our Monday meetings and seeing you all so often! Take Care!
Steve and I are very active with our church and youth group. We built a church camp and hope to have our first camp this summer! Steve is very busy with his business Quality Carpet! He has owned and operated it for over 15 yrs now! I only work 3 days a week, I love that! We enjoy living in the country and spending time with our sons. We go camping in our cabin in Webster County when we can. That's really in the country! Love & God Bless
The biggest highlight for me is meeting Steve at LCHS. We dated from then on. He took me to take my drivers test in his mom and dad's car! I'm glad I passed, that would have been embarrassing! We dated all through Glenville State College, where I was president of DZ Sorority there. Made it through College and got married on Spring Break 1992 (eloped with notice) in Virginia. After leaving the church we headed to Myrtle Beach in our 1989 Z24 Cavalier Convertible (my dad bought it from us when we had Nicholas and it's still in the family). I am proud to still be married to my high school sweetheart. Now we just try to make time for "date night" as often as we can! The kids love every chance to go to nan and pap's to stay! We are very happy and enjoy life and most of all enjoy sharing the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ!
I have so many good memories with friends at LCHS. I have a stack of pictures to remind me! I was voted cutest smile along with Steve Rupert! A smile goes a long way. Right Steve? I was probably next in line for most talkative!
My most embarrassing moment was when I was running late for school, I was attempting several times to parallel park in front of the school. I was in my mom's dark blue Olds. Cutlass Sierra (mid-size) car and I tried several times to get it in the spot. I looked up and saw several windows from different classrooms full of students watching me! I had no idea I was being watched and especially by so many people. I think that someone came out and parked it for me, but I cannot remember who! I gave up! Steve was one of them that saw me and the other day he told our boys about it when we went by there. We all cracked up laughing! It is funny now!
