Wendy C. Clemens (McLendon)

If only I fit in my prom gown! I'd be soooo happy, I might even wear it!

maybe our next reunion could have a 90's prom party theme...just imagine all the sequins and rhinestones and hairspray!!! fun!!! we could even strip some tie twisties to make fake braces. might be worth considering!

Can I dye my shoes to match my dress?!?!

09/17/08 09:51 PM #53

Wendy M. Clutter

Only if I get to dye my purse too!!

Side note: Did anyone catch the 'fad' that may be coming back in style? There is a picture of Katie Holmes wearing PEGGED JEANS!! OH NO!

Important points to ponder!

Boy we grew up with some crappy fashion! Oh, how I remember the days when I thought my mom was unhip for not pegging her pants! I refuse to trod that road again!

PS- being from the poor end of Elm Grove, I got a white dress to avoid the dying fees! How sad is that?! lol...

For the guys---I'm planning on wearing brand new, gleaming white canvas K-Swiss shoes with no socks, some checkered Skidz or super tight acid washed jeans(both pegged), and either a XXXL t-shirt that is slightly tucked in, or an IOU sweatshirt for Silvermans or Chess King. That should be really impressive.

Dawn Mulvey (Skrzypek)

I better change my husband's wardrobe selection for that night- it would be so awkward to have you guys dressed the same!!!!

I think Darnell, Wendy and I will be doing a live broadcast of the Patriot Connection right at 7 p.m. Don't be late!!! We will be wearing Bugle Boys, a turtle neck and a cardigan sweater!!

My wife and I were planning to come to Generations around three. I will try to act interested in the game (actually will be rooting for another WVU loss, but people who knew me in the day know I always have been a Pitt fan).

p.s. I know this is 11th hour, but what exactly does one need to bring to a steak fry, ie., what does it involve? I've gotten conflicting stories from people I know. Thanks.

A steak fry "bag" includes a plate, a fork, a knife, something to "flip", "turn" or "cook" your meat with, any seasonings or sauces you like to put on your meat. If you carry all of this in a bag, it makes it very handy! And BYOB, if you want mixed drinks or wine. And don't ask anybody but people from the Ohio Valley about a Steak Fry, they have no idea!! It's true!

09/28/08 05:40 PM #69

Wendy D. White (Bogers)

Well, you missed a hell of a steak grilled by Darnell Foster (thanks Darnell!), "dirty smurf" blue jello shots that were quite tasty if I do say so myself, great music, memories and conversations! And my gosh, what a picnic! Mya is still talking about the clowns, bounce house and goodie bags! All the planners did such a WONDERFUL job! I have to say, the best thing for me was speaking with folks I didn't get to know in high school- I appreciate that we are all adults now, no clicks, no levels of "coolness"- all equals and interested in each others lives. It was truly a wonderful weekend! Thanks everyone!

Wendy W. :)

PS- Hope you had a great honeymoon, Nat!

Wendy White couldn't have said it better. It was truly a pleasure speaking and catching up with everybody....not just those we were close with in high school. I want to personally thank the committee for doing such a wonderful job in putting everything together. As I was driving back to KY today I literally found myself bent over the steering wheel of my car crying laughing (while my whole family slept) about so many memories as well as ones I forgot to mention! For those of you who would like to send me your photos of the weekend please email them to matt@proplayersolutions.com or matt.dilorenzo@gmail.com. I am going to do my best to put the video footage I took as well as photos on a DVD for everyone. Some of the video is hard to hear b/c of background noise and there were some small lighting issues with some of the footage but for the most part it turned out pretty good. To eveyone I got to see and speak with I want to THANK YOU for literally making this weekend one of the best I have ever had!!

-Matt D.
