After graduation, I was promptly kicked out of my father's house. I rented a room from William SIngley's mother for $50 bucks a week for about 6 months. I worked at the Petroleum Club, went to TJC, and did odd jobs for people, until my Dad died in 1989. My mom moved back to Tyler to take care of my little brothers, and I moved in to help with bills and such. In 1991 I moved to California to go to Culinary School. Working in Laguna Beach, El Toro, and Irvine for about five years until I finished school. Came back to Texas, after two long weeks in new Orleans, and settled in Houston. Went to work at the Hyatt Regency downtown, met my wife there in an elevator, and have been blessed with four wonderful kids. I finally surrendered to the ministry in the summer of 2000, started Seminary at night, and recieved my Bachelor in Theology May of 2005. Found out that my cancer had made an encore appearance in September of 2007, and have been going through treatments ever since. God has used this cancer to allow me to witness to many people that I would never have had the chance to meet. He has blessed my family.
Have been called to pastor a few churches, but did not feel that was where God wanted me. Working for Group 1 Auto selling cars. Keeps me jumping. Kids are well, and I am blessed above measure. Working, and waiting on God. Living the dream.
