A little late but hoping you had a fun birthday. Hope all is well with you and your family. All is good here in Hawaii. Fishing has been slow, but I still enjoy the day on the water. I took your advise and looked up the plain. It looks a lot like the country from Richmond Utah to Cheyenne Wyoming. That area is a High desert with sage brush, salt brush and scrub juniper trees. Lots of colorful rocks and no water. A great place to get totally lost in if you wonder off the main road. Be sure the spare tire has plenty of air and maybe a can of fix-a-flat would be an added item to take along. I read where there are at least 6 way station along the way to stay at. Unless you two are the camping type and really want to rough it out there under the stars. We did our time in a tent a while back when we started the first house in 2015. Now we are both house broken and no more tents for us. Looks to be one heck of an adventure, and one to remember for years to come. Be SAFE and enjoy the truck ride through the true outback. lol to you too. Have fun

Well here we go again. Another year under our belts and looking forward to the next great adventure in store for us. Has it been a full year already? Happy Birthday. Hope all is great down under. Up here we are doing fine. We are in the final phase of construction, the finish. Flooring is complete and we just painted the doors and trim. Next is base. Have the plumber and electrician coming in two weeks. Wishing you the best this year as always. Have fun and do something different that pleases you.

Guess I should update my page. We built a home from the ground up in Milolii Beach.Just half mile away from the water, with a 90 degree water view. Had to hire an electrician and plumber. We did all the framing, drywall, painting etc. I see you still have your california phone number and email. I got rid of the Black Berry and I phone as soon as i retired 4 years ago. Good luck to you. Time to go on Hawaiian time, ya know. Take care. I am not planning to go the the reunion. I will be giving my daughter away June 1 in Saint Louis. That will be enough time off island.
