Hi everyone! 30 years is a long time. Surely we have all outgrown the social cliques by now - I think it will be great to see everyone now that we're all out there in the real world! I'm sure life has taken us all in many different directions. Look forward to September.

Sandra Moore (Coleman)

Hey Cheryl, does the AARP count as a social clique? Because I'm really looking forward to those travel discounts. (Kidding. But not about the travel discounts.) :)

Cheryl Wolfe (Wyckoff)

I think we'll all be in that clique Sandra! We have the Red Hat Society to look forward to also! Ha. You know, its like another class mate told me - the drama and trauma of those years just made us stronger! I'm glad to see so many on the profiles already and its only February. Thanks to Carrie or whoever headed up the web site.

Wow, what a blast from the past! So many memories went thru my mind when I saw all of these names! Do any of you cringe when you look back at some of the things you did?

Ha! Loved the comment about therapy and trauma from school days!! I see Shannon going thru that crap now - she's in the 7th grade!! That's an ugly time for girls.

Dana Haskell (Armstrong)

Hey Pam!
It was fun and it was great seeing you! Gotta hang some crap on Jeff Buss - Class of 79 outlasted the Class of 78!! Janna, Theresa, Monty, Jay & myself left close to 2! Sad but true! Some things never change ;). Let us know when you're in town again and maybe we can meet someplace where you can carry on a conversation without yelling and still have a couple of beers. Take care til then!

I'm nostalgic today, so I popped in to see what was happening here. Isn't it crazy that we used to have just three television channels? Some shows were broadcast in B&W, and all the stations signed off at midnight, blaring "The Star-Spangled Banner." We got the Wichita Eagle in the morning, and the Wichita Beacon in the afternoon. Milk and butter was delivered every week, and you could also get potato chips delivered, if you liked Charles Chips. We listened to KLEO and KEYN. When we were a bit older, we bought our clothes at Cricket Alley and Jeans Unlimited, had our hair done at Heads Together, and purchased concert tickets at Argus Tapes and Records. We made jewelry at Beads 'n' Embellishment and ate at Dr. Redbirds Medicinal Inn. We sent downtown to shop at Macy's and have tea on the mezzanine, and we had ice cream at the soda counter in Woolworth's. What was the name of that all-ages club? The one that was in the round building on Seneca that I think started out as a Lazy R and now is a porn theatre? Wow. I just can't believe so much time has passed. Life is pretty fun.
