Neita passed away April 1, 2006.  Neita had some serious health issues before she passed away but she died of a massive heart attack brought on by complications of diabetes. She and her husband (Ken, who she had been married to since 1962) were living on the east coast at the time but she happened to be at her mom's in Missouri when she passed.
