John Paul Dietsch "Papa John" passed from this life, April 4, 2011, just 48 days after his beloved wife, Gayla Sue Dietsch. Born to Joseph and Barbara Dietsch on July 1, 1944, John was one of four brothers. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had many interests including being an avid fisherman and artist. John carved fishing lures and tied fishing flies for many years.

During his last years, John had taken up sketching - landscapes in particular. John was a proud Papa to grandchildren Levi Lytton, Hannah Battaglia and Nicholas Battaglia.

John donated his body to the UT Health Science Center. There will be no services for John in accordance with his wishes.

Our Papa was greatly loved and will be missed terribly.

We want to thank everyone at Hope Hospice for all of the kindness and support shown our family during this very difficult time.
