Visitation with the Family will be from 11:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M., Thursday, April 24, 2014; Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M., both at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside Service will follow at Green Valley Cemetery, Furley, KS. Richard received his Bachelor's Degree from Asbury in Kentucky, and his Master's Degree from Emporia State. Preceded in death by his step-dad and mother, Alfred and Maxine Schnoor; father, Floyd Everett. Survived by his daughters, Christina Wilson of Ottawa, KS, Cassandra Everett of Overland Park, KS; son, Cade Everett of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Chancellor Wilson, Chloe Wilson, Wyatt Wilson, Walker Wilson, Madalen Everett; sister and brother-in-law, Suzie and Brad Dunagan of Wichita; step-mother, Jan Everett of Las Vegas, NV.
